Celebrating Design Shanghai’s 10th Anniversary by leveraging 10 highlights and the theme Design for Wellbeing.

Challenges

Design Shanghai 2023, Asia’s preeminent and largest design fair, welcomed its 10th anniversary. We needed to create a comprehensive eye-catching communication strategy to celebrate the design festivals legacy and future.

Approach

To echo with the 10th anniversary, Sinclair supported Design Shanghai to launch an almanac “Ten Years (2014-2023): The Ongoing Progress of Design in China” to demonstrate Design SH as the pioneer of China’s design industry as well as communicate 10 Highlights of Design Shanghai 2023 for the marketing campaign, attracting a wide range of trade and public visitors to the in person show.

Outcomes

  • Earned 14,000 media stories across design, trade, lifestyle, business and news sections.
  • Over 235 journalists visited the show or attended media events.
  • Record-breaking impressions across social media channels.
