Challenges

Hysan celebrates Lee Gardens’ 100th anniversary in 2024. A consistent and compelling narrative was needed to communicate the rich heritage of Causeway Bay and connect with its audiences to celebrate the milestone collectively.

Approach

Deployed a creative-led strategy across social media platforms, Instagram and Facebook to showcase key personalities who have contributed to Causeway Bay’s growth and success. Conceptualised and brought to life a series of five interviews in English and Traditional Chinese, and curated Hysan95 campaign assets (which marked 95 years since Lee Hysan purchased Jardine Hill) to further enrich this 100th year celebration. To make this anniversary celebration even more prominent, we displayed a photo exhibition at Lee Gardens One to showcase the nostalgia, success and optimism of Causeway Bay over the last 100 years through exclusive photographs and artefacts.

Outcomes

  • Maximised Lee Gardens’ 100th anniversary among all target audiences.
  • Over 340 users participated in the UGC campaigns, involving monthly user-friendly questions and giveaways, which invoked a sense of nostalgia within the community.
  • Achieved an impressive +7,000 engagements during the five-month campaign across the two platforms.
