Asia’s leading international design event, Design Shanghai, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a prestigious showcase at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from 8-11 June 2023. This milestone edition promises to be a spectacular showcase of creativity and innovation.
Design Shanghai is continuing its mission to explore how Eastern and Western design philosophies can work synergistically (and sustainably) to create truly outstanding pieces of art. The event continues to break new ground, this year expanding by 50% and introducing a brand-new hall to accompany Hall 1 (Furniture and Lighting) and Hall 2 (Kitchen and Bathroom; New Materials and Applications) – Hall 3 (Living and Lifestyle).
Over 600 designers and brands from 40 countries and regions will participate in this year’s showcase, ensuring a truly global gathering of design excellence to celebrate Design Shanghai’s ten-year journey. The event will feature bespoke installations, an inspiring design forum and exciting networking events.
Speaking at a pre-event press conference in March, Zhuo Tan, Managing Director of Clarion Events Shanghai Limited and Event Director of Design Shanghai, said: “This year marks the tenth anniversary of Design Shanghai and we appreciate the contribution, support and engagement the event has and continues to receive.
