Challenges

As ongoing conflicts continue to displace millions every year, and unprecedented challenges and emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic only worsen the global situation, the UNHCR needed to secure donors to take action in support of their work in providing aid.

Our mission was to craft impactful content to encourage funding for the humanitarian relief for refugees.

Approach

Created strong, precise and timely content material across UNHCR’s channels of communication to raise awareness and share the urgency and pressing needs of refugees. Content include e-newsletters, web articles, work updates, release translations, and awareness and donation appeals.

Outcomes

  • Developed 12 e-newsletters in support of UNHCR’s seasonal appeals and fundraising campaigns.
  • Translated 14 pieces of content to in support of UNHCR’s work to aid the humanitarian crisis.
  • Drafted 10 pieces of donor and social media content to raise awareness in UNHCR’s appeal.
